Work More
Success isn’t about working harder, it’s just about the discipline to work more.
Unless you do physical labor for your work, it’s tough to actually work harder. If you work from your phone and a computer, like me, and most people nowadays, our work isn’t really that hard.
In all honesty, I use the word “work hard” all time. But what I really mean is I was productive and actually worked the whole time I said I was going to.
Nothing about what I do is hard.
Writing articles about how to get women or start a business isn’t hard, it just takes a lot of time. Figuring out how to build a website isn’t hard. It’s tedious, annoying, and frustrating, but it’s not hard. It just takes the ability to work more.
Success takes time
Success in business or any pursuit takes consistent effort over a period of time. Most people simply don’t put in the time.
Or they start something and put a lot of time in the first few weeks, then they give up.
You have to believe in yourself and work more, period.
Make a goal, and schedule time in each day to make that goal a reality. When you’re working on your side business, decide on how many hours you’re willing to put in. You can find the time if you look at your schedule, especially if you have no kids or mandatory obligations besides your regular job or school.
How you can work more
Let’s say you have a side business. If you worked everyday on your side business after work from 7pm until 11pm, 5 days a week, that’d be 4 hours a day. That’d be 20 hours a week right there.
If you worked another 5 hours on Saturday and Sunday that’d be 30 hours a week. If you worked 10 hours on Saturday and 5 on Sunday that’d be 35 hours a week.
You think you would be successful with your side business if you did this? Especially if it’s a low cost, service based business?
I’d put money on it that you would be very successful, even if you’re weren’t that skilled.
Stick to your schedule
It’s not easy to put more time in to your business after working a corporate job from 8 to 5.
I don’t know why, but doing something you hate for hours will cause you to want to find an escape and be lazy after work. This is why most guys watch porn, tv, football, whatever, and never escape the matrix.
Even if you’re not watching porn or tv, you can be wasting your time chasing women. I had a lot of fun meeting new girls in my life, but a lot of that was just to escape the misery of my job. I was trying to find something to loom forward to after work everyday.
So I understand that it’s tough. But as a man, you have to deal with it. You have to schedule time to work on your side business after a long day of work.
The younger you are, the easier it is because you’ll have more energy.
It’s still possible to work more when you’re older, in your 30’s for example. Starting new habits it’s tough though. You’re in the best position if you’re in your late teens or early 20’s and don’t work a full time job.
It all comes down to the time you put in
Regardless of where you’re at, if you’re trying to start a side business or grow your current business you need to work more.
If you spend 3 hours of your working time actually doing work, and another 3 hours on your computer not doing shit, you didn’t work for 6 hours. You worked for 3 hours and then got distracted.
Self discipline and mastering time management will give you the ability to work more and therefore accomplish more. Then you’re a step closer to being a rebel. Adopting the Rebel’s mentality and going all out into your goals will cause you to be happier, make more money, and find more fulfillments in your life.
Deep down, you know you need to put in more time to get what you want. It starts with dedication to work more, then in a matter of time you’ll be well on your way.
